Converted from old terraced houses that once housed our ship builders, we provide everything you could ever need for a great stay. So whether you are in town to toe tap to live Irish music or get lost in history among the plethora of museums, our bright, fresh and comfortable dwelling is the perfect Belfast spot to base yourself 🙂
The space
Our apartment is located on the Upper Newtonards Road area of the city. It is in east Belfast and so benefits from its close proximity to the many, many restaurants and bars which are just a short walk away. It is also just on the fringes of the city centre so if you do want to head into the centre of Belfast or visit any of the city’s attractions, you can jump on the glider (fast bus), take a cheap taxi, or simply walk.
The apartment has been beautifully refurbished with brand new plush and very comfortable furnishings. Relax in the living room with a lovely corner sofa and flatscreen TV, cook a meal in the fully equipped corner kitchen, take a long hot shower in the brand new bathroom suite after a full day sightseeing, or relax on the crisp white sheets on the incredibly soft bed in the bedroom.
For your convenience, entry is via lockbox located just beside the door so you can arrive at any time after 3pm (Don’t worry if you get held up!), free parking is available on the street just in front of the apartment, and there is a washing machine that is free to use in case you are in the middle of a longer trip and need to do a quick clothes wash.
And also, rest easy – we conform to all Airbnb’s cleaning protocols and our place is professionally cleaned and laundered after each stay.
Finally, we want to be as accommodating as possible so although check in is after 3pm and check out is prior to 11am, if you do need leeway on this we will be happy to provide it if possible! Just ask us closer to the time 🙂

Hi, I'm Chris. I was born and raised on the north coast but like every other young person in Northern Ireland, was drawn to the bright lights of our capital city Belfast. After exhausting every fantastic nook and cranny this city has to offer I made my way around the world and throughout the next number of years found myself living and working in America, Japan, China and Korea. I returned home a few years ago to set up a home and raise my family in Holywood County Down. I took on the Pass the Keys Franchise in Belfast in 2019 and pandemic aside, the interest and uptake of our services have been incredible. My most valuable business trait is that I am honest and upfront - something that has served me well in building great relationships with my clients. I look forward to continuing to grow Pass the Keys in Belfast and offering more and more spectacular places for visitors to stay.
